I specialize in handmade semi-precious Jewelry.

 I have been designing for about 17 years now. I am a perfectionist when it comes to the quality of my jewelry.

My Jewelry creations have an artistic flare of sophistication. 

My designs are prefect for a night out on the town, a day at the office or for causal wear to accessorize any outfit.

I focus on the way Jewelry makes you feel. 

My goal is to create One-Of-A-Kind piece, something a little different that no one else would have. I strongly believe that Jewelry should be something meaningful that you might play with throughout the day. That it may bring you back to why you loved it in the first place, or how it compliments your outfit just perfectly. Or it simply makes you feel good because you received a number of compliments while wearing it.

The artist of AP Handmade Designs, April Marie Pechickjian, is the designer of original beaded jewelry and handmade designs since 2006. All beaded jewelry is handmade, here in the USA, and nothing is mass produced. You are sure to find jewelry that will become your favorite pieces for years to come. All our beaded jewelry designs are created with high quality semi-precious stones and collected from many different vendors around the world. Our exclusive jewelry designs are created with a variety of one-of -a kind designs that are never copied, and the quality of our craftmanship is to perfection. 

Nearly Seventeen years ago April Marie Pechickjian began making jewelry, when a friend came to visit her with plans to go out dancing. In her hand she had a decorated box with the name April on it, a bottle of wine, and snacks.  The young girl was ready to go dancing, but the girlfriend insisted on staying home to learn how to make jewelry.  That night, until the wee hours of the morning, a passion for making jewelry was born!  The next day they both went shopping downtown  Los Angeles, California searching for the most beautiful and natural stones that could be found to design her own jewelry,

The young lady, April, was busy with her daytime Controller job for a development company, so at night she diligently worked learning how to make jewelry by reviewing YouTube videos.  She learned to wire wrap, how to work with leather, how to make clasps, how to use color schemes and more.  She also learned the names for precious stones and their meanings.  As she continued to grow, she attended gem shows where she could feel the stones in person and develop a better idea of the designs and styles that she wanted to use.  As time went on, she could pick up a string of stones and visualize how to incorporate them in a unique design.  When she met with customers, she would listen to what they wanted and developed a feeling about what they desired and was to converse about it and design a personal piece based on the conversation and their personality.  

As her passion and skills grew, she started selling jewelry at art shows, private showings at houses, and craft fairs.  To date, she has been working on personal jewelry for 17 years and has never lost her enthusiasm to create beautiful pieces.  The excitement of her creations brings her joy when they find the right pieces that fit a certain person.
